Q: Where can I find out more about Safeguarding at Littlecoates?

Q: How do I find out who the governors are?
- The Governor page is in the Our Academy section.
Q: How do I contact a governor?
- Each class is paired with a Governor. If it is that Governor you would like to contact then the best way to do this is through your child's class teacher.
- Otherwise, please contact the office who will be able to speak to/email/message the Governor of your choice on your behalf.
Q: How do I find out about uniform and wearing jewellery?
- Please see the uniform policy. You can find this on the policies page in the Our Academy section.
Q: Can I help in school?
- Mr Wilkinson would be glad to receive any interest from parents/carers/guardians about coming to volunteer in school. Please contact the office to speak to Mr Wilkinson regarding this.
Q: Where can I find out when parents evenings are?
- All of the dates and events planned at Littlecoates can be found on the calendar in the latest newsletter. There is a newsletter button on the Welcome page.
Q: What after school clubs are there for my child?
- We run a large range of after-school clubs free of charge every afternoon between 3.15pm and 4.00pm. Our Sports Specialist, Jonnie Rowan, organises them and you can see what is on offer for the term ahead on the After school clubs page in the Parents section.
Q: Who are the parent Governors of the school?
- Currently, Claire Sheppard and Precious Oha-Nwobodo are our Parent Governors. If you wish to contact them, please let the office staff know.
Q: Where can I find information about holiday dates?
- Please click on the tab labelled 'Term Dates' for more information
Q: Does my child need money for snack?
- No. All children have access to free toast and fruit on arrival at school.
Q: How can I take my child on holiday during school term time?
- Holidays are not permitted in term time. Please see the attendance pages and the attendance policy for more information.
Q: Where can I express my opinion about the school?
- We have an annual parent survey in October, which is available at the parent/carer meetings. However, we welcome feedback all year round. Please speak to the office who will be happy to assist.
